Accounts Clerk2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsDirect message the job poster from BoodjaraAboriginal-owned and operated company, Boodjara is committed to Powering our Country.Our Mission is to deliver consistent, high-quality, electrical and instrumentation contracting services for our clients while employing, training, upskilling, and empowering Indigenous people with Connection to Country on the lands upon which we work.The role:Boodjara is seeking a full-time Accounts Clerk interested in joining our growing team in the South of the River Metro area.Disciplined, self-motivated, and with a bias for action, the Accounts Clerk is responsible for providing support with the following activities:Employee Payroll.Accounts Receivable.Accounts Payable.All tax payment preparation.Long Service Leave preparation.Financial forecasting.To be considered, candidates will have:3-5 years experience working in a similar role.High level of competency in Xero accounting software or competent in similar accounting software.Extensive experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements, EOM and EOFY reconciliations.Financial accounting experience in chartered accounting/audit environment.Demonstrable working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.Sound written and verbal communication skills.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong experience and knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
