About the Role Primo Foods has an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to join the team on a permanent full-time basis. This role leads and provides strong generalist human resources support to the Wacol site. Your responsibilities will include: Provide HR leadership and direction, partner with the management team to ensure that HR strategies and tactics align business objectives and People strategy. Ensure responsibilities are implemented in alignment with Group People & Culture and Primo Foods HR strategy and goals. Provide coaching around areas of leadership and managerial decision making across the Business Departments as required. Commit to employee safety as paramount by ensuring all employees are inducted and trained to complete tasks and positions to which they are allocated. Support site leadership teams with cost control and operational decisions. Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, safety management and return to work. Oversee labour hire agency performance including employee suitability, engagement process, employee performance including attendance and turnover and recommend changes as appropriate. Oversee the complete process of Pacific Labour Scheme management ensuring compliance with company and external regulator policy and regulations. Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees. Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organisation at hearings. In conjunction with GM HR undertake all levels of Industrial Relations, including EA bargaining, resolving disputes involving Unions and employee representative groups. About you: Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a fast-paced food environment. Ideally Tertiary qualified in Human Resources Management or similar. Demonstrated experience in the Fair Work Act & Industrial relations Act, and experience representing the organisation at commission. Demonstrated ability to translate Strategic vision into Tactical and Operational plans that are fully implemented. Strong behavioural role model, coach and communicator. Why work for Primo?
