The Role
Reporting to the HR Director and collaborating with senior HR Business Partners, you will play a key role in providing both strategic and operational HR support. Key responsibilities include:
* Coaching and advising managers on performance management, employee relations, and complex ER cases.
* Overseeing recruitment processes, ensuring alignment with the company’s broader business objectives.
* Leading succession planning, remuneration reviews, and organisational design initiatives.
* Driving employee engagement through surveys, development programs, and career path planning.
* Managing WorkCover claims, compliance, and safety initiatives to support a safe and positive working environment.
* Implementing and championing HR policies and practices that contribute to the company’s strategic growth.
About You
To excel in this role, having a superpower for building trusting relationships will set you up for success. You are a strong collaborator with the ability to communicate at all levels across the business, from frontline employees to senior leadership. You have:
* Experience in a generalist or HR Business Partner capacity, preferably within distributed networks like retail or blue-collar industries.
* Proven expertise in coaching and developing managers in a true HR partnering capacity.
* A hands-on, solution-oriented approach, with the ability to manage operational tasks while contributing to strategic goals.
* Ability to build reltionships across varying areas of the business.
