As the Principal Electronics Engineer, you'll report to the Head of Engineering and collaborate with project managers and engineers to innovate and refine manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Hands-on system design
* Partner with Project Managers to deliver Electronic Engineering services
* Ensure team has the skills and tools needed
* Maintain compliance with quality and safety standards
* Identify and address training needs
* Mentor and support your team
What you need to succeed:
* Australian Citizenship is required.
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
* Experience designing electronic circuits to standards
* PCB design with EMC, EMF considerations
* Leadership experience
* Practical diagnostics knowledge
* Micro-controller and peripheral circuit design
* Communication methods expertise (I2C, RS-485, TCP/UDP)
* Familiarity with microcontroller architectures (TI, Pic, Motorola)
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of C++, C#, and Rust
