WHO YOU ARE Demonstrates strong support for the Sales & Marketing team and the Business Development Manager in operational tasks and event coordination. Skilled in the current knowledge of hotel rates and operational details for effective client interactions, ensuring the product knowledge manual is consistently updated. Shows initiative in managing phone inquiries and conducting telemarketing to identify new clients, providing weekly outcome summaries. Exhibits proficiency in assisting with daily activity planning and conducting research, while compiling insightful monthly Sales/Marketing reports. Competent in updating and maintaining the Sales & Marketing database and efficiently managing the 31-day trace system. Organises electronic files for contracts and correspondence with precision and actively assists with various promotional projects. Demonstrates capability in drafting compelling proposals and communication materials, contributing effectively to marketing and e-commerce strategies. Skilled in creating engaging content for diverse distribution channels, ensuring strict adherence to brand standards. Shows strong organisational skills in managing Sales & Marketing correspondence, taking comprehensive meeting minutes, and overseeing the distribution of promotional materials and stationery inventory. WHAT YOU'LL DO Participate in planning day-to-day activities for the team. Assist in telemarketing efforts to identify new clients and assess their potential for the business, preparing weekly outcome summary reports. Conduct research, perform competitive analysis, and compile monthly Sales/Marketing reports. Support the team in developing and executing marketing and e-commerce strategies by coordinating campaigns. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel rates, packages, and operational details to effectively handle site inspections with clients. Keep the product knowledge master manual for the Sales & Marketing department current and comprehensive. Update and maintain the Sales & Marketing database regularly. Manage the department's 31-day trace and product tiles effectively. Provide administrative support as needed, maintaining electronic files for contracts, wholesaler agreements, group bookings, and corporate rates. Assist in drafting proposals, communication documents, and mail-outs. Create content for print, online, and digital distribution. Organise and manage all Sales & Marketing correspondence within the hotel. Manage all incoming telephone calls with initiative and follow through on inquiries. Take minutes during Sales & Marketing meetings. Assist in the distribution of promotional materials, such as hotel brochures and sales kits. Ensure proper inventory management of stationery items and maintain stock levels. Contribute to specific projects related to internal and external promotions.
