The Opportunity
As the Quality Engineer, you will partner with the operational teams to ensure that the Quality Management System is effectively applied and maintained. With your expertise, you will lead root cause analysis for construction / water infrastructure quality issues that may arise and put in corrective actions that addresses the systemic problem.
Your strength lies in collaborating with stakeholders to provide support, guidance, and expertise to effectively solve problems, eliminate root causes and sustain improvements. You are meticulous in your approach, provide accurate reporting of quality metrics and develop relevant measures to drive down the cost of poor quality (COPQ).
Reporting to the Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager, the position is further supported by our talented team of people including the Technical Training team, Operations teams, and the wider Engineering team. This role is based out of our Girraween office in Sydney.
You will bring:
* Relevant degree in an Engineering Discipline (Civil, Manufacturing, Industrial, etc)
* Experience in a similar role, preferably with exposure to the construction industry
* Knowledge of developing and implementing Quality Management Systems
* Experience in delivery of project quality compliance and assurance
