About the Role
MSS Security is seeking a driven Control Room Supervisor to join our team at Monash University.
This role involves overseeing Control Room operations and playing a key role in delivering exceptional service to the Monash University community.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and take responsibility for day-to-day control room operations.
* Enforce up-to-date Site Standing Orders and communicate changes of policy, procedures, and operating requirements.
* Ensure all staff are inducted and trained appropriately for the control room.
* Ensure that all incidents are reported through the correct channels and the appropriate actions are taken.
* Ensure weekly and/or monthly KPIs are achieved and reported.
Requirements
* Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations.
* Security licence with control room subcategory.
* Full Australian working rights.
* Working with children check (or willing to obtain).
* Valid First Aid and CPR.
* Must reside in South/Easterly suburbs.
* Experience in using Milestone CCTV, Inner Range/Infiniti Security System and resolver reporting system would be preferable.
* Strong understanding of various CCTV, access control systems and investigation report writing.
* Proven experience working in a security control room.
* Proven experience in team management.
