As a Specialist Geoscientist, you will leverage technical expertise in mine geology to execute technical duties independently in addition to coaching and training mine geoscientist peers.Reporting to the Superintendent Geoscience with no direct reports, you will:Show leadership in a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.Prepare mine reconciliation and end-of-month reporting for distribution to technical teams.Actively identify opportunities for out-of-design ore in collaboration with technical services and production teams.Supervise the collection of grade/quality control samples and conduct geological mapping. Organize and compile collected data into relevant geological information management systems.
