ABOUT THE ROLE As a Conference Producer, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of conferences, events, and seminars.This role is critical in ensuring that events are successful, engaging, and meet the objectives of the organization or client.You will work closely with a range of stakeholders, including speakers, sponsors, marketing teams, and vendors, to bring together all the necessary elements of an event.An ideal Conference Producer will have a bachelor's degree in any field and possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in conference production or a similar role.This experience should demonstrate a strong track record in planning, developing, and executing successful events.The candidate should be adept at managing multiple stakeholders, researching industry trends, and crafting compelling content, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality, engaging conferences and seminars.Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Australian and New Zealand clients and markets. Strong analytical skills, technical writing capabilities, and business acumen. Exceptional market research skills and industry knowledge. Proficiency in networking, negotiation, and contract management. Tools: Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in MS Office. Experience with Asana and LucidChart.com (beginner to intermediate level is acceptable; training will be provided). Responsibilities Case Study Research: Find relevant case studies for IT conferences in the ANZ market. Speaker Identification: Locate and contact the appropriate speaker for the case study on the end-user side. Case Study Summarization: Summarize case studies in two to three paragraphs, covering the business case, use case, implementation steps, and key business outcomes to establish ROI. Invitation Writing: Craft a compelling hook and value proposition for inviting the case study speaker. Vendor Research: Identify the vendor(s) and the best point of contact within the vendor used for the implementation.
