It has a collaborative culture, provides flexibility and work-life balance, and is welcoming and inclusive.There is no expectation on overtime; you will work a standard 38 hours week.The Building Services design team works fluidly with the Civil and Structural Engineering teams.About the roleDue to growth, we are seeking an Intermediate or Senior Electrical Design Engineer who has worked in a similar Engineering Consultancy role. You will run and lead projects from concept through to delivery, primarily contributing to small to medium-sized projects in the Buildings sector, including Commercial, Residential, Education, Health, and Industrial buildings projects, including medium to high rise buildings.About the candidateIdeally, you will have:A minimum of 5+ years of Electrical design experiencePrevious Electrical Engineering experience with an Engineering Consultancy within the Building Services industrySignificant project experience in AustraliaStrong work ethicTeam player, adaptable and flexibleFamiliarity with a range of software programsExcellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standardsDemonstrated understanding of Engineering codes, construction standards, specs, procedures, and construction techniques and materialsStrong focus on company cultureWork-life balance and flexible working practicesA relaxed but professional work environmentEncouragement for personal development and career growthSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionConsulting, Engineering, and DesignIndustriesCivil Engineering, Design Services, and Construction
