Seeking an experienced Procuement Procurement who demonstrates strategic thinking and an ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Using your market knowledge and commercial acumen, you will be part of the team to help lead and support the delivery of procurement services to our client's business including end-to-end procurement activities and provide category/contract management expertise. This will include liaising with key stakeholders to understand their requirements, sourcing and vendor management and maintaining procurement categories within projects.
Key responsibilities:
* Assisting with scope development, assembling tender packages, identification of vendors and convening and managing tender evaluations and the award process.
* Assists with negotiations, vendor pricing and terms of conditions in line with company approval process and coordination with internal stakeholders.
* Support the management and monitoring of contracts and contractor / supplier performance.
* Champion value improvement and /or cost reduction initiatives to continually improve business performance.
Skills, Attributes and Qualifications:
* Degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, Law, Procurement or significant Procurement and Contract experience.
* Solid procurement and contract management experience in operational, commercial and/or regulatory environments.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
* Confidence and experience representing the company in negotiations and working with senior leadership.
