Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD. As a key member of the Coal Handling Preparation Plant (CHPP) department, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance functions to optimise the performance and availability of the CHPP process.
You will have a positive attitude towards team involvement and contribution to the CHPP team. Excellent communication and people skills are essential, with the ability to build relationships and work in a team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* At least three (3) years' electrical trade experience, including maintenance inspections, industrial installations, fault finding and repair of equipment.
* Knowledge and experience with HV Infrastructure, Yard Machines (Stackers/Reclaimers), Conveying Equipment, Motor Control Centres, Instrumentation, PLC, Citect SCADA and pneumatic systems.
* High Voltage Switching, Instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA control systems experience, along with competencies in Working at Heights, Elevated Work Platform, Forklift, Confined Space and HR Truck License.
