This position will require extensive travel to various customer sites around the globe.WHAT YOU WILL DO:Install network hardware, components, and cabling.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with copper and fiber cabling.Inspect and test copper and fiber optic lines to meet industry standards.Rack and stack network hardware in accordance with requirements.Provide technical support through various communication channels.Collaborate with network engineers and project managers on design, implementation, and problem resolution.Cable network rooms and racks to data center standards.Create site survey reports on MDF and IDF readiness (power, cooling, rack status).Perform pre and post WiFi surveys using standard software and equipment.Maintain quality, productivity, and turnaround time standards.Assist with audio-visual deployments when needed.WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:Strong experience with networking hardware (routers, switches, servers, PDUs, copper and fiber optic cabling).2+ years in network deployment/data center experience.Ability to terminate RJ45 copper cables (straight through and rollover).Hands-on experience with major router, switch, and wireless manufacturers.Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Proficiency in reading network diagrams, schematics, and port maps.Experience interpreting rack layouts and bills of materials.Understanding of networking concepts and eagerness to develop skills.Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to diagnose basic technical issues and work in a fast-paced environment.Availability to work outside normal business hours and travel globally. 95% domestic/international travel required.Preferred certifications: CDCTP, CCNA, JNCIA, CompTIA, or equivalent.EOS is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
