This role involves engaging our participants to develop and maintain independence within their home and engage in community settings, with an emphasis on active support being essential.This position will suit people who:Are passionate about empowering and supporting the individual needs of our valued clients in a caring, empathetic, inclusive, non-judgmental manner to ensure safety and well-being.Demonstrate resilience and the ability to self-manage challenging circumstances to achieve quality outcomes.Are committed to professional conduct, including reliability, integrity, and the ability to maintain professional boundaries.Can work autonomously as well as contribute to an effective team, with good interpersonal and communication skills.Are committed to high performance through a positive attitude, flexible nature, and the ability to receive feedback and training.Duties and Responsibilities include:Follow daily schedules including routines, identifying client needs, cleanliness, activities, and shift guidelines.Follow set rosters and time frames and be prepared to work some weekends.Provide quality active support including Personal Care, Medication Management, and Manual Handling.Ensure safety, well-being, and support of choice.Be a positive and constructive team member who role models professional behaviour at all times.Contribute to effective risk management of incidents and hazards in accordance with company policy and legislation.Provide clients with a physically and emotionally secure environment and promote their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual well-being.Familiarity with the Community Services Sector, particularly NDIS frameworks.Cert III in Disability Support or Aged Care or willingness to obtain.Demonstrated capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to deal appropriately with stress, maintain composure, and apply effective engagement strategies with clients.Capacity for self-motivation with the ability to cope with changing work functions and tasks.Required:Birth Certificate or Current Passport.A current Blue Card and NDIS Workers Screening or ability to obtain.A current Police Check or ability to obtain.Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.NDIS Orientation, Effective Communication, and Safe & Enjoyable Meals modules.How to apply:All interested applicants should send a current resume to ******.#J-18808-Ljbffr
