Mission Beach State School is seeking applications for an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Department - Curriculum (HOD-C) to join our dynamic and diverse learning community. This temporary full-time position runs until 12 December 2025, unless otherwise determined.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to lead curriculum development and delivery, drive high-quality teaching practices, and support evidence-based literacy programs. The successful applicant will play a key role in implementing the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0, while also fostering a safe and inclusive environment where all learners can thrive. In this role, you will lead staff capability development, align teaching practices with school and departmental initiatives, and contribute to delivering the vision of State Schools Division.
