We are an expanding business focused on our people and our core values of Learn, Think, Grow, Connect.ABOUT THE ROLEThe AV Site Supervisor ensures sound onsite execution of AV projects, leading installation teams and coordinating logistics to meet project specs and exceed client expectations.TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESTeam lead – Lead and mentor AV installation teams, including apprentices, and provide training for new and existing team members.Communication – Manage onsite client communication.Technical – Interpret technical data from drawings, blueprints, schematics, floorplans, elevations, and service manuals.Projection and Audio Equipment Setup: Set up and test projection screens, projector lifters, ceiling speakers, LED video walls, and digital signage.Meeting Room AV Configuration: Configure and test meeting room AV equipment and video conferencing systems.Rack Assembly and Wiring: Assemble and wire AV and IT equipment racks.Task Ownership: Take ownership of tasks with focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.Work Environment Maintenance: Maintain clean, organized work environment and assist with material logistics, including ordering materials as needed.Compliance: Adhere to company WHS policies and procedures.Professional Development: Continuously update certifications and training.Project Communication: Communicate daily project progress, issues, changes, risks, and relevant information to stakeholders.Documentation: Complete necessary business operations documentation (e.g., HRA’s, vehicle inspections, timesheets).QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEMinimum 1-2 year in a similar role.Current driver’s license and white card.Experience with commercial AV equipment installation and testing.Telecommunications CERT III or equivalent trade experience.Strong time management and customer service skills.Positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.Knowledge of network connectivity and IT systems.HOW TO APPLYIf you’re a results-driven team player ready to contribute to our growing company, click and take the first step toward an exciting future with Syndeticom!Please submit your application, or email us directly at careers@syndeticom.com.au
