Our premium coffee blends are crafted by skilled baristas, ensuring each cup delivers rich flavor and the perfect pick-me-up.Position Description:· Inspecting foodstuffs to ensure they meet quality standards and are suitable for preparation.· Regulating the temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment to ensure proper cooking conditions.· Preparing and cooking food according to recipes, ensuring consistency and high standards.· Seasoning food during the cooking process to enhance flavour and ensure taste quality.· Portioning food, plating it, and adding sauces, gravies, and garnishes for presentation.· Storing food in temperature-controlled facilities to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.· Preparing food to accommodate special dietary requirements or customer preferences.· Planning menus and estimating food quantities required for service, ensuring efficient food preparation.· Training and mentoring kitchen staff and apprentices to develop their skills and ensure adherence to food safety standards.To be successful in this role, you must be·Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery·Minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality management.·Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.·A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing demands.·A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for delivering high-quality meals.·Availability to work across all days of the week, including weekends.·Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers.·Excellent time management and organisational skills to ensure efficient kitchen operations.·Attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.Applications will be accepted for a minimum of 4 weeks from the date of this advertisement.
