As a CIE Project Engineer at Air Liquide Australia, you will play a crucial role in the company's Engineering team, responsible for the successful delivery of projects within the Industrial Gas industry. In this full-time position based in Elizabeth, SA, you will apply your technical expertise to manage the design, construction, and commissioning of various industrial plant and equipment. Your work will directly contribute to the company's strategic objectives and expansion plans.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
- Oversee the execution of complex engineering projects from inception to completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Provide technical guidance and support to project stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing appropriate control measures
- Prepare detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and technical specifications
- Ensure projects comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures
Are you a MATCH?
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, preferably in a relevant discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering
- Crygenics or Industrial Gas experience essential
- Mandatory Project Management experience; project implementation and customer management
- Strong technical skills and a good understanding of industrial plant and equipment design, installation, and commissioning
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and adaptable approach
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to liaise with both technical and non-technical teams
- Knowledge of relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in the industrial sector
