The Opportunity
Boeing Defence Australia is currently recruiting for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) as part of the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) program in Nowra, NSW.
Responsibilities
* Promoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and procedures.
* Aircraft flight-line handling and servicing duties.
* Removal and installation of aircraft components and disassembly and reassembly of aircraft components.
* Preparation and use of aircraft support equipment and inspection, maintenance, servicing, repair and fault diagnosis of components and systems operating in both the line maintenance and base maintenance environments.
* Ensuring all maintenance tasks carried out are IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentation.
Experience/Qualifications
* Current B1.3 MAML or the ability to obtain.
* Cert IV Mechanical.
* Previous experience working on rotary wing aircraft.
* EC135 series Aircraft Type course.
* Safran Arrius B2 line 1 and 2 maintenance training.
* Ability to successfully interact with co-workers, maintaining productive working relationships to meet team, business unit, and organisational goals.
* Flexibility with working hours and locations.
* Hold or be able to obtain a "Baseline" Security Clearance as per Defence Department requirements.
