With over 200 people based in Australia, Plenti is small enough so everyone can make a difference in their role, but we have very big ambitions as a team, as we go about building Australia’s best lender.Plenti is a founder led business that launched in 2014 and is now listed on the ASX, with annual revenue of over $200 million and a loan portfolio of over $2 billion.What's the role?We are seeking a Collections Specialist to help us play a crucial role in managing our customer accounts and ensure timely payments for our early-stage arrears portfolio on our secured and unsecured loan portfolios. You will assist in managing collection activities to maximise recoveries while maintaining Plenti’s reputation for outstanding customer service.Our Collections team is a high-performing team that cares for our customers' needs. With internal development opportunities and celebratory team events, we foster a supportive and engaging workplace where our people can grow and thrive.What else will I be doing?Manage portfolio of overdue accounts: Assess customer financial circumstances and identify solutions to assist our customers in restoring their loans to good standing.Implement solutions for our customers: Assess and respond to proposed debt agreements, create structured payment plans, undertake skip tracing and bankruptcy petitions, and liaise with our external collections agencies.Create a collections culture: Implement and document effective collections processes to ensure best practice collections culture.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all communications, payment arrangements, and actions taken for each account.Build relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management and our other internal teams.Compliance: Ensure all regulatory obligations including the NCCP Act, Privacy Act, ASIC Regulatory Guides, and AML / KYC requirements are upheld.
