An opportunity has become available in Ipswich for a skilled Administration and Marketing Assistant. This role will focus on providing administration support to a busy HR team, together with planning, creating and scheduling social media posts to increase brand exposure and attract talent.
Key duties include:
1. Drafting job advertisements, updating the website, and creating engaging social media posts to promote job opportunities and support talent sourcing strategies.
2. Working with the Business Development Manager and Managing Director to plan, create, and schedule engaging content for social media platforms to increase brand engagement.
3. Collating information and preparing employment documentation to support the HR team.
4. Assisting with recruitment processes, including screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
5. Maintaining accurate database records.
6. Providing general administration support to the team.
This role requires an organised administrator with great people skills, a pro-active approach, and the ability to multi-task, together with the ability to work with a sense of urgency. We are also seeking:
1. Administration experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven office environment with a proven ability to multi-task.
2. Previous experience updating websites and creating engaging social media posts to support marketing activities.
3. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and a strong client service focus.
4. Fast and accurate keyboarding skills (45wpm @ 98% accuracy+).
5. Confidence learning and using a range of technology.
We are seeking your availability to work Monday to Friday (ideally full-time hours, however, a part-time arrangement may be considered min 30 hours/week across the 5 days). This is an opportunity to join a very well-established business (35 years+) with on-site car parking and a great team of professionals.
