About the Role
Due to the continued growth of our business, we are looking for experienced Chemical Cleaning technician to join our project team. This role is an ongoing casual position.
Duties will include but not limited to:
* Operating nitrogen membrane units.
* General chemical cleaning duties
* Manual labouring type duties.
* Working within other crews and helping out wherever the team requires.
* Depending on what tickets and experience you hold, you may also participate in High Pressure Water Blasting & Vacuum loading duties.
* Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety including participating in safety documentation requirements.
* Strong problem-solving capabilities.
Requirements & Experience Needed:
* Previous and proven experience in shutdown, maintenance and commissioning ideally in the field of chemical cleaning/decontamination, pipeline, testing and Nitrogen Services
* 2+ years of relevant oil and gas experience or related industry
* Trade qualification or experience working in a process plant is highly regarded
* Ability to work within a team and unsupervised
* Strong mechanical knowledge and experience highly regarded
* Current Driver’s Licence
* Full Australian work rights
* White or Blue Construction Card
* Working at Heights obtained in the last 2 years (Desirable)
* Confined Space Entry Ticket obtained in the last 2 years (Desirable)
* BOSIET, CA-EBS (Desirable)
* MSIC (Desirable)
* Able to obtain a Police Clearance
* Able to obtain Offshore medical
