About our Client
Our client has provided award-winning air conditioning, gas, and solar services to Perth residents for over 45 years. They specialise in residential and commercial air conditioning and are known as the trusted name in air conditioning in Western Australia. They are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional with skills in managing accounts receivable, and supporting general accounting processes, to join their Finance team.
About the Opportunity
The Accounts Receivable role is critical in ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts from clients across various departments, including retail, trade, and service. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting general accounting processes, and performing accounts reconciliation for creditor and general ledger accounts. This role will work closely with the internal finance team to optimise cash flow, maintain strong client relationships, and uphold accurate financial reporting.
This opportunity will also provide an opportunity to progress into other accounting–administration job role responsibilities.
About you
To be successful in this role you will need
7. Previous experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or collections, preferably in a multi-departmental environment.
8. Strong bookkeeping skills with a focus on accounts reconciliation for creditor and general ledger accounts.
9. Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general accounting processes.
10. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
11. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel & CRM.
12. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
