About the Role
The primary objective of this role is to perform planned and reactive maintenance tasks safely and effectively within the site's Mobile Maintenance department.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing
* Field work
* Working on a range of mining equipment (Normet, Volvo, Sandvik loaders, and Sandvik Development and Production drills)
* Reading and interpreting hydraulic and auto electrical schematics, as well as associated software programs
* Gaining technical knowledge to apply potential asset/maintenance improvements
* FOLLOWING correct procedures for costing all items and contributing to maintaining within existing budget limits
* Identifying risks/hazards and applying effective controls via PTRA's, JSEA's, or formal Risk Assessments
* Maintaining health, safety, statutory, regulatory, and licensing standards, as well as principles, both within own workplace and through identification of potential risks throughout Evolution

The successful applicant will possess the ability to make decisions, meet deadlines, have strong communication skills, and strive to be part of a high-performing team.
We seek individuals with a diesel fitter trade certificate, current manual drivers license, and excellent problem-solving, diagnostic, fault-finding, and troubleshooting skills.
