Together they provide shared services to the MJ Quinn Telecoms and Energy divisions.The Logistics Systems and Data Analyst role will site within the Asset Management department but will be a shared resource for the whole of the Logistics function.The Asset Management department is a key part of the Logistics function. The department ensures that testing equipment and assets for use by in-field engineers are fit for purpose and compliant with relevant regulations.JOB OBJECTIVEThe Logistics Systems and Data Analyst will be responsible for analysing Logistics data to optimise performance, reduce costs, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves generating reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement across the various departments of the Logistics function. The Logistics Systems and Data Analyst will work with key stakeholders in Logistics to provide reports and carry out data analysis as required by the business.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESThe key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:Working with key stakeholders to determine the data to be collected and analysedDeveloping system knowledge to be able to obtain the required data for reportingCollecting, analysing, and interpreting data from various Logistics systems, including 365 Inventory Management, SAP and the relevant Asset Management and Fleet systemsGenerating regular and ad-hoc reports for senior management on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metricsDeveloping processes for collection of operational data, such as pick accuracyGenerating a data dashboard for each of the Logistics departmentsUtilising data collection software, such as PowerBI, to optimise reporting capabilitiesIdentifying patterns and trends in data to inform decision-making, reduce operational costs, and improve efficienciesEnsuring data integrity and accuracy within the relevant management systems, identifying and resolving discrepanciesCollaborating with IT teams and software vendors to troubleshoot system issues and ensure the seamless operation of all relevant systemsPresenting data findings and actionable insights to leadership and other non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise mannerActing as lead for the implementation, monitoring and management of any supplier system API's, or supplier hosted portalsActing as technical lead for the identification, scoping and implementation of any in-house Logistics system developmentsProducing, reviewing and updating user guides for the core Logistics systemsAssisting in the delivery of training and ongoing support on the core Logistics systemsAssisting in ensuring GDPR compliance within the Logistics functionAssisting in the data management including storage, access and retention, in the Logistics functionAbility to work independently, and at the same time collaboratively with the various stakeholders within the Logistics functionEXPERIENCEEssentialExperience working in a Data Analytics role, preferably within Logistics, Warehousing or Fleet ManagementDemonstrated experience working with database querying and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Visio, 365)DesirableExperience with Inventory Management systems, including SAP and 365Experience working with Fleet management software, telematics, incident databasesExperience working within the Telecommunications industry an advantageSKILLSEssentialAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups and use of MacrosAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision makingOrganisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to communicate effectively within all levels of the business, presenting complex data in a suitable format for the required audienceStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently, and at the same time collaboratively with the various stakeholders within the Logistics functionQUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSEssentialBachelor's degree or 3+ years equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related fieldDesirableTechnical qualifications in data analytics systemsBENEFITS:Free Parking33 days holiday (25 + Bank holidays)Employee Bonus SchemeHealthcare Cashback PlanEmployee Assistance ProgrammeCycle to Work SchemeCompany Contribution Pension SchemeParental Leave and PayEmployee Reward and RecognitionLearning and Development OpportunitiesGym & Retail Discounts.Life Assurance BenefitDIVERSITY STATEMENTMJ Quinn's are committed to promoting an environment that values diversity.
