The Opportunity
Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Landscape Project Manager to join our team based at our Brisbane Office on Melbourne Street. This position will provide specialist Project Management expertise and be part of a team delivering a range of unique and challenging projects, including Shoreline, Yarrabilba and Springfield.
About the Role
As the Landscape Project Manager, you will be responsible for assessing and delivering sustainable and commercially viable solutions within our communities. This role significantly contributes to the landscape aesthetics, safety, maintenance and ultimate enjoyment of our communities' parks, streetscapes and other public domain spaces.
Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and assessing the assets and landscapes of our active and developing communities identifying areas for improvements, upgrades and maintenance.
* Managing the handover process from construction contractor to maintenance contractor, ensuring works are being accepted in line with Stockland risk profile.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders including authorities, maintenance and construction contractors.
* Managing the maintenance budget and development expenditure budget.
* Managing the handover process to authorities (e.g. Local Government).
* Designing the maintenance scope of works, drafting maintenance contracts and monitoring and driving our contractors to deliver upon the works.
* Supporting in the Project Management team in monitoring contractor performance and workload.
* Supporting development teams in creating and monitoring landscaping packages.
About You:
We are looking for someone with appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or extensive relevant experience in landscape practices, asset management or contracting. Advanced understanding of landscape practices either through design or contracting background; proven understanding of contract management; demonstrated commercial/financial acumen; and proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skill.
