The DOOLEYS Group consists of (2) two Clubs in Western Sydney (Lidcombe and Regents St Pavilion) and a Health & Fitness Centre. It is a successful leisure and entertainment business that welcomes community groups and all members of the community, offering an impressive variety of well-appointed dining, entertainment and function facilities. As a direct result of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a Trade Qualified Electrician to join our Building and Services team. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will take the lead in electrical related maintenance work along with other maintenance tasks to the DOOLEYS buildings, grounds and associated equipment. You will ensure they are maintained to provide a safe and pleasant atmosphere for our members and guests. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Carrying out electrical repairs to plant and equipment throughout the clubs Carrying out maintenance tasks as prioritised as part of ongoing and preventive maintenance schedule Installation of new electrical circuits Ensuring the grounds, buildings and associated equipment are left in a safe, neat and tidy manner at the completion of work and ensuring a safe and pleasant atmosphere for employees and visitors Supervision of contractors as required Recording completed jobs using a diary log on a daily basis Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards and internal policies and procedures In return as a valued member of our team, you will receive: On-site parking Meal allowance Shoe and laundry allowance 17.5% Annual leave loading Discounted membership at DOOLEYS Health and Fitness Paid community, study, and birthday leave A minimum 3 percent pay increase every year To be successful in this role, you will have an electrical trade licence and will be an adaptable all-rounder wanting a fast-paced position within the hospitality industry. This role allows for an early start and early finish for work to be carried out while the club is closed. You will be required to work approximately one weekend every 6 weeks. A requirement for this role is you will need to obtain your RSA/RCG.
