Independent Tree Service Pty Ltd is a quality company that has been in operation for 23 years.We are seeking an Arborist for the north and south side of Brisbane, including the Sunshine Coast. We supply all uniforms and PPE. Comes with a company Ute and all the rigging equipment, Stihl saws, and all tools to make your day run smoothly. We also supply climbing harness and equipment as required.In addition to machinery, we have Ewp’s, Loaders, Excavators, Posi Mulchers, and the largest stump grinders to assist with all of the back-breaking work.ITS spends around $60,000 to $80,000 on training per annum as ITS staff are our biggest assets. We have long-term staff of more than 10 years, and we train and try to keep our team happy and safe.We have our Cert 5 & 3 Arborists, workplace health and safety team, and Cert 4 Trainer and Assessor in-house who are qualified to carry out all of our quarterly harness inspections and data recording and tagging for onsite evidence.Having all these machines and training opens up doors to carry out some really cool work. All machinery, equipment, and staff are well looked after. Independent Tree Services Pty Ltd currently employs 35 full-time team members. We are a medium to large-sized company growing at a moderate rate. Quality and safety are our number one priority. We have a very positive and harmonious workplace and are looking for a new member to join our great team.Our company has one available position for a full-time Climbers/Arborist. Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a climber. Qualifications are not essential as training will be provided for the successful applicant with great industry experience.Work includes government contracts for Moreton Bay Council, Logan City Council, Redlands City Council, Unity Water, Urban Utilities, Defence Force, Q-build, as well as private and commercial infrastructure projects.Our head climber staff can earn up to $120,000 per year with overtime available if you are looking to earn extra.We have 12 climbers and run 2 climbers per climbing crew at all times.We have 5 Ewp ranging from 18 m to 40 m to reduce your climbing to a minimum. The ease of having our own cherry pickers in-house is certainly a bonus.The successful applicant will be supplied with all the equipment and saws set up in a near-new Ute.
