Primary Objectives: Assist students, staff, and faculty in locating and accessing library resources, including books, journals, and online databases. Provide research support and guidance, helping users develop effective research strategies and utilise library tools. Maintain the library's collections, ensuring resources are current, organised, and easily accessible. Offer technology support for library users, including assistance with digital resources, library software, and equipment. Conduct library orientation sessions and workshops to educate users on available services and resources. Collaborate with academic departments to support curriculum development and integrate library resources into coursework. Participate in outreach activities to promote library services and resources to the university community. Desirable Qualifications or Skills: Experience in library services, information management, research support, or customer service. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer focused approach to service delivery. Proficiency in using library management systems, online databases, and digital resources. Ability to provide effective research assistance and information literacy instruction. Strong problem solving abilities and attention to detail.
