The Opportunity We have an exciting opportunity in our Property Team for an Administration Assistant to join on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be supporting our team with a range of administrative tasks whilst also gaining on-the-job mentoring, training and support. This opportunity will be well-suited to a diligent, customer-centric individual who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to progress in their professional, legal career. The Role Our ideal candidate will have previous transferable experience in a legal administrative assistant or secretary role. Accuracy, attention to detail and professionalism will be essential in this role, as you will be responsible for supporting our legal team and ensuring tasks are undertaken and delivered in a timely manner. Your responsibilities in this role will include: Preparing basic legal documents and correspondence. Preparing and issuing monthly tax invoices and receipt of monies. E-filing documents with the Titles Office. Diary management. File management, saving emails and correspondence to files. Answering telephones and directing enquiries and calls. Opening new files and undertaking conflict searches. Archiving files. Sending documents and correspondence. Other general administrative tasks as required. Role requirements The role requires previous experience in a similar role in providing legal or administrative support to a high functioning team, a high level of attention to detail, motivation and commitment to learn. In addition, you will: Have good time management skills and a strong commitment to consistency. Have a natural inclination for taking initiative. Be a self-starter but also thrive in a collaborative work environment. Have confidence in building lasting relationships with colleagues and clients. Understand the Microsoft 365 suite, as well as an in technology and system improvements.
