Established in 2002, NLC Engineering is a locally-owned & operated business specialising in Line Boring, General & CNC Machining & Engineering. We pride ourselves on providing quality products, friendly service and fast turnaround times to clients throughout Kalgoorlie as well as the Eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia. We are currently looking for experienced individuals to fill the below positions: Boilermakers Heavy Diesel Fitters / Diesel Mechanics Line Borers CNC / Manual Machinists These are full-time, on-site roles located in Kalgoorlie, WA. The wage range is $55.00 - $75.00 per hour commensurate to skills and experience. All applicants must hold a current drivers license or be able to obtain one. BOILERMAKERS Requirements: Trade qualification and 2 years related experience. Mig and Tig welding experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret drawings. Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment. Strong safety focus and the ability to operate within WHS policies. Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills – ability to solve problems. Applicants with relevant experience in lieu of qualifications are also encouraged to apply. HEAVY DIESEL FITTERS / DIESEL MECHANICS Requirements: Heavy Diesel Mechanical Trade Certificate - Australian Recognised is preferred. Minimum three (3) years post trade experience. Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics will be well regarded. Previous experience in mobile equipment repairs. Replacing components, completing breakdown diagnostics and general servicing. A pro-active approach to resolving issues and excellent attention to detail. LINE BORERS As a Line Borer, you will be responsible for setting up and operating line boring machinery to repair or produce metal components, including drilling, turning, and boring to tight tolerances. Requirements: Experience in operating line boring machinery and using manual and power tools to shape and cut steel components. Experienced in working to tight tolerances. Experienced in fitment of bushes and pins in the completed bores. Experience in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications. Knowledge of welding techniques. Ability to inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required standards. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Certifications in relevant areas of study such as welding, machining, or engineering are desirable. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. CNC / MANUAL MACHINISTS Requirements: Trade qualified CNC Machinist/Programmer or manual machinist. Previous workshop experience required. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
