How you'll make an impact
To assist in the management of the platform investments offer. The role will have a specific focus on our regulatory reporting obligations ( APRA and DDO reporting), but will also include wider business support as it relates to investment change activities,petitive analysis, the provision of reports to various internal and external stakeholders, and providing support for various projects where necessary.
Main Focus Areas:
1. Support the delivery of strategic objectives of the Platform Investments team in relation to effectiveernance of the investment menu and our managed portfolio offers through: Data analytics to support business and regulatory reporting requirements ( APRA reporting, DDO etc) Assistance with various investment related activities covering the platform investments range Managing stakeholder queries as it relates to platform investments Coordinating change management activities, including investment option approvals and implementation. Liaising with stakeholders such as IT and Ops on investment option changes.
2. Support data analytics and navigate the investment frameworks of NM Super (superannuation trustee) and NMMT (platform operator and responsible entity) to support regulatory obligations and business decisions.
3. Support risk management andpliance by contributing to the resolution of incidents and breaches relating to the Platform Investments team, the documentation and maintenance of key process maps and obligations, and maintaining all relevant controls in risk andpliance strategic systems.
What you will bring to the team
Ideally, you will bring the following experiences to this role:
4. Relevant qualifications within economics or finance are essential with advanced or post graduate study advantageous.
5. Experience with superannuation and investment products.
6. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment andfortably deal with change (marketplace and business).
7. Demonstrates a sound understanding of risk frameworks, systems, and controls.
8. Proven experience in making presentations to internal stakeholders to an investment.
9. Strong understanding of investments, fund managers and investment operations and ability to critically evaluate and analyse the impacts from investment reports and change activities.
10. Ability to make sound and justifiable rmendations and the confidence to present those rmendations to investmentmittees if required.
11. Effective cross functional stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
12. Strong investment analytics, modelling, and implementation skills.
13. Strong Excel & PowerBI skills and the ability to manipulate large data sets is critical.
14. SQL knowledge would be advantageous.
15. Demonstrate a strong understanding of risk frameworks, systems, and controls.
16. High attention to detail.
