The role The Finance Officer provides financial input into a broad range of activities that contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives for Crown Lands. What you’ll be working on Monitor expenditure against Capital and Recurrent budgets, accrue revenue and expenditure on a monthly basis, and prepare amendment journals in an accurate and timely manner. Support Crown Lands staff in the creation and reporting of Projects. Work with business units on questions and reports related to the Enterprise Resourcing Planning (ERP) system. Drive business improvements projects and initiatives in relation to financial systems. Assist Group Finance and the broader business in maintain the integrity of Crown Land business information and data. Ensure local Accounting and Management policies conform to applicable Standards, Acts of Parliament and Treasurer’s Directions to meet the Division’s strategic objectives. Proven ability to present financial information clearly and accessibly for non-finance stakeholders. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
