Account Executive (Insurance Broker)

We're seeking someone who is a motivated, organised, and a technical thinker. This role is ideal for an experienced insurance broker with up to 5 years' experience who is looking to take their skills to the next level.
This role will be reporting to the Divisional Manager, you'll manage and service a portfolio of new and existing clients, providing high standards of service and advice. In this role you will be managing an Affinity and Schemes Client Portfolio in all aspects of client service, including administration, technical support, and business development through the accurate, efficient, and timely production of all policy and related documentation. Sound knowledge of policies such as Public Liability, Business Package, Tools of Trade and Motor insurance would be beneficial.

8. Acquire and maintain an awareness of the client's business and insurance needs, noting all briefing information provided by senior servicing and broking managers.
9. Analytical: Analyseplex information, evaluate risk, and provide advice and solutions to clients.
10. Develop and maintain a sound technical understanding of all major classes of insurance and specialist services which thepany offers to its clients.
11. See the importance of details and getting the small things right: A high level of attention to detail is essential for ensuring accuracy in policy documentation, as well as for identifying and mitigating potential risks.
12. Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the core aspects of relevant Insurance and related legislation.
What you need to have:
13. RG146 Tier 1 Insurance Brokingpliance qualification.
14. Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) highly desirable.
15. 3+ years' experience in a similar role.
16. Sound knowledge and application of broking principles, insurance products and service. These apply to general insurance products and services.
17. Clear and effectivemunication skills.
18. Developed negotiation skills.
19. Ability to work autonomously within a multi skilled team.
20. Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workload, meet deadlines and good time management skills.
21. Client Service - excellent delivery of technical, administrative, and consulting support to internal and external clients.
22. Change - awareness of environmental, financial, regulatory, and social factors affectingpany and clients' operations and business and knowledge of internalpany technological and product capabilities.
23. Planning and Organization - development and implementation of courses of action for self and others to ensure that work ispleted efficiently and on time.
24. Drive & Self-Motivation - demonstrates a willingness to take on increased responsibilities and displays the ability to act independently
