We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our team in Canberra and support the delivery of a soon-to-commence $600 million project. Responsibilities As a Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of all commercial aspects of your project, including: Administration of the head contract and subcontracts Developing the procurement strategy and processes Outlining cost controls, budgets, and managing project cash flow Ensuring that contracts and documentation contain the necessary EH&S inclusions Leading and mentoring the commercial and administration project team To Be Successful, You Will Need: A construction management, building, engineering, or quantity surveying degree or equivalent 10+ years of industry experience in the construction industry, ideally on projects above $100 million Expertise in contract management, construction law and quantity surveying Experience in program financial management, risk and opportunity management, performance reporting, budget preparation, and administration Experience managing and developing teams of junior staff Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience managing groups of high-level stakeholders Lendlease Overview With a national delivery capability and a sector-focused approach, Lendlease Construction provides innovative and industry-leading project management, design, and construction services driven by detailed sector knowledge and experience.
