In support of that growth, the business has created a high-impact revenue management team based out of Brisbane. The Senior Revenue Manager is a key leader within that team and a vital hire to support the ongoing success of the company.
Job Description The Senior Revenue Management position is a multi-faceted role that supports the Head of Revenue across a portfolio of over 40 locations.
Central to the role is assisting in providing strategic oversight and management of tourism revenue in the form of occupancy and yield alongside the integrated brand and experiences across the customer journey that will achieve revenue growth and commercial outcomes.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Revenue Delivery, in the form of owning, developing and executing yield strategies for a given portion of the estate, optimising distribution networks and managing external relationships among other actions. Front line engagement, including daily rate setting and market review and training and supporting Operations and Venue Managers. Policy and procedure development and maintenance. Full engagement internally with colleagues and other departments and externally with customers and partners to advance the mission and objectives of the organisation. The Successful Applicant The ideal candidate for the Senior Revenue Manager position should be:
Experienced and skilled in revenue and yield management strategy development and execution in a leisure/tourism setting. A skilled and powerful communicator and influencer, with a knack for finding solutions to problems. Able to demonstrate a relevant education and work experience background that provide a deep grounding in the industry. Proven commercially, with a strong track record of results. Excited to work in a fast-paced, target-driven and at times pressurised environment where tight time frames are a norm rather than the exception.
