LMS requires the services of a full-time or part-time Manager - Mechanical Engineering in Prospect, South Australia. As part of our team, you will collaborate with the Group Manager - Engineering, taking the lead in overseeing a team of Mechanical Engineers and Draftspersons. Your role will primarily involve designing biogas plans and related equipment, including generation plants, gas flaring systems, digesters, gas treatment units, and associated ancillary devices, all in line with relevant standards and regulations. You will work cross-functionally to ensure project timelines are met, engage with external stakeholders, participate in key meetings, and ensure designs are delivered within budget. Responsibilities: Provide professional mechanical engineering work in the areas of planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of renewable energy power and Ag-waste projects. Ensure mechanical designs are developed in accordance with applicable standards, codes and regulations. Provide context and purpose in the planning and assigning of mechanical engineering tasks to the mechanical engineering team. Apply mechanical engineering aptitude to the: Development of scopes of work, Basis of Design and equipment specifications suitable for purchasing Assessment of pipe design studies (incl flow and pressure loss) Review of design calcs, PID, Equipment lists, Data Sheets and instrumentation Provide strong leadership and directions to the mechanical engineering group Drive and support collaboration with other internal business groups Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure design compliance and timely delivery of projects.
