Job Summary
This role is responsible for overseeing painting tasks and activities within the facilities department. The incumbent will work closely with the Facilities Shift Supervisor to coordinate tasks, supplies, and equipment.
Responsibilities
* Ensure compliance with Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures.
* Prepare and apply paint coatings to interior and exterior surfaces, creating special effects as needed.
* Smooth surfaces, remove old paint, and prepare surfaces for painting, including filling voids and replacing wall fixtures.
* Select and mix paints to match specified colors.
* Erect scaffolding or set up ladders to perform tasks above ground level.
* Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good condition.
* Coordinate with internal departments to optimize workflow.
* Foster positive relationships with colleagues and guests.
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements
* High School diploma or technical certificate required.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience with specialty coatings and 1 year of casino experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
