Benesse is looking for an experienced Assistant Cafe Manager. In this role, you will directly assist the Cafe Manager in leading a dynamic team to deliver the Benesse values and be part of our future growth. About The Role Long-term opportunity for growth and development within a thriving cafe Permanent full-time position No split or night shifts Staff discounts at all cafe sites & complimentary meals whilst on shift A workplace you'll love being apart of Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Hiring, training and developing the Front of House Team Ensuring the cafe remains presentable and service is running smoothly at all times Adhere to all relevant protocols and OHS regulations Contribute to discussions of new ideas and be able to analyse the performance of the cafe to assist in the growth of the business Weekly ordering, stock control and rotation Rostering - with target % to ensure profitability Administrative duties (responding to emails, invoicing, timesheets etc) Directly work with General Manager, Kitchen leaders and operation managers About You Successful candidate will have: Suitable experience in a similar role or relevant hospitality experience Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, interact & lead a team of 20+ people Confidence in multitasking so that you can supervise AND execute smooth, efficient and friendly service.
