We have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Consultant to join our team on a permanent basis in Newcastle.
In this role, you will be an important member of the Customer Service team reporting directly to the Team Leader where you will provide phone and email customer service, sales and support.
The core responsibilities in this role include:
1. Receiving inbound calls and email enquiries from commercial and domestic customers
2. Proactively making outbound calls to our existing customers to promote our products and services
3. Scheduling technicians' days
4. Resolving customer queries quickly and accurately
5. Scheduling appointments for residential customers
6. Converting incoming enquiries into sales opportunities
7. Liaising with your fellow colleagues
8. Meeting call and internal sales targets
9. Maintaining our databases by ensuring customer records and details are up to date while ensuring compliance.
Requirement
10. Experience working in customer service or call centre environments (essential)
11. Demonstrated experience in phone sales and converting enquires into sales
12. Capable of working with multiple database systems and email programs with experience in word and spread-sheet packages desirable
13. Proficient with communicating verbally and electronically
14. Able to work calmly under pressure while multi-tasking
15. Proven problem-solving skills
16. Ability to focus on delivering a 'wow' experience to customers
17. Ability to work in a team environment to support fellow colleagues
18. Professional, reliable and punctual.
19. Accurately enter data into systems
20. Planning/Route experience preferred but not essential
