General Mill Worker (GMW)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic candidates for the role of General Mill Worker to join our Production Team based at Kalamia Mill, located in the Burdekin Region.
This position is suitable for someone who is self-motivated and doesn't need close supervision. Previous related experience is not essential as we will provide training for a person who displays the right aptitude and team fit.
Your Role in Action
* Performing labouring duties, including but not limited to; shovelling, air lancing and maintaining clean work areas etc.
* Ensuring permits to work and risk assessments are completed
* Assisting tradespersons where required
* Taking samples as directed
* Perform other duties as the Supervisor may reasonably request

* Work effectively within a team environment
* Work safely and look after the safety of others in the area.
* Communicate effectively on telephone and two-way radio.
* Work in conjunction with the Production Teams
* Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback to the Supervisor
* Able to work at heights and within confined spaces if required
* Follow instructions given by supervisor and use all required PPE for the tasks
