About the role
The position delivers high quality, evidence based Social Work/Psychology/Occupational therapy clinical services in the assessment, formulation and intervention for consumers with complex mental health issues, their families, carers and relevant stakeholders, in both acute and community settings. This position operates as a member of an integrated, multidisciplinary mental health team with a focus on planning and provision of clinical care and therapeutic interventions within a recovery framework.
About you
This successful applicant will carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
1. Ensure consumers, carers and other staff are treated fairly and with mutual respect and understanding, regardless of cultural, religious, ethnic and linguistic backgrounds.
2. Comply with the timely and accurate input and collection of consumer related demographic information, diagnosis, outcomes collections and provision of service activity into appropriate applications. The data and information includes the electronic entry and completion of documentation to meet legislative requirements, including Mental Health Act 2016 documentation, admissions, discharges and transfers.
3. Apply a developing knowledge of mental health legislation and policy (including Mental Health Act 2016 and the National Mental Health Standards) to facilitate the delivery of coordinated and integrated services within Metro North Mental Health – Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
4. Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire and apply knowledge of relevant applications, including Electronic clinical systems (e.g. Consumer Integrated Mental Health Application (CIMHA), Wardview, Hospital Base Client Information System (HBCIS); and Emergency Department Information System (EDIS) as relevant.Electronic incident reporting and consumer feedback systems (e.g. Riskman)Electronic payroll and rostering systems (e.g. My HR)
