Central Queensland CQ Health offers a comprehensive physiotherapy service across the lifespan to support patients through their acute hospital admission, recovery following discharge or when accessing other specialist outpatient services.
Our physiotherapists work in hospital and community facilities across Gladstone, Biloela, Emerald, Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton regions.About the role:Provide professional leadership, operational management, strategic direction, evaluation and advocacy, as well as professional and clinical governance of Physiotherapy services and staff, across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.Lead the development of Physiotherapy services across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service CQHHS, through supporting the delivery of evidence-based, patient-centred care.This position reports operationally to the Allied Health Director (Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast and Mount Morgan) and professionally to the Executive Director Allied Health.All Physiotherapists employed in Health Practitioner positions within Central Queensland Hospital and Health Services CQHHS professionally report to this position.About you:Mandatory possession of a Physiotherapy qualification from a registered tertiary institution.
