Job Description
This opportunity is offered on a contract basis with number of hours to be discussed based on candidate's availability. The purpose of this role is to provide child & adolescent psychiatry services including via telehealth.
Desired Skills and Experience
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE:
Eligible for Specialist Medical Registration in NSW, or will be eligible within six (6) months of application.
Fellowship of the RANZCP and/or other specialist recognition as provided for in the Staff Specialists (State) Award.
Membership of the Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, RANZCP, or equivalent.
Experience in working with children and adolescents with complex mental health difficulties, complex family situations including child protection issues, and trauma presentations in a community health setting.
Experience in working in a child and adolescent multidisciplinary team setting.
Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Adaptability to the needs of the child, their family, and the changing requirements of the position.
An interest in and commitment to rural and remote communities and the challenges they face.
Experience delivering psychiatry services via telehealth (Desirable).
