The Position The Finance and Administration Officer reports to the Executive Officer and Board Treasurer and is responsible for providing effective and efficient financial and administrative services to support School Food Matters. The incumbent will be responsible for the organisations day to day accounting and bookkeeping processes and procedures and assisting with monthly financial reporting to the Board. The role will also include general administrative support to the Board, Executive Officer, School Lunch Program Manager, and Project Officers.
The Finance and Administration Officer works under the direction of the Executive Officer. A degree of autonomy and self-direction is required, whilst maintaining a team approach.
Remuneration The position is covered under the conditions of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 and is aligned with Level 4, plus superannuation. Salary Packaging is available.
The position is full-time 37.5 hrs per week whilst Tasmanian Government funding for the School Lunch Program and SmartFood is available.
