About This Role
We are seeking an accomplished Business Unit Manager to lead our Dermatology team, spearheading both sales and marketing leadership initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to the marketing and sales teams.
* Drive the development and implementation of cutting-edge marketing strategies.
* Help lead and coach the sales team to optimize performance and achieve sales objectives.
* Gather, analyze and synthesize data to generate impactful insights that drive action.
* Foster effective collaboration across various departments.
* Oversee financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
* Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of business initiatives.
* Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential challenges.
* Build and nurture high-performing teams.
* Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVie's policies and procedures.
* Adhere to AbbVie's internal codes of conduct and compliance processes.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification with Marketing/Business or Science disciplines or equivalent.
* Breadth of industry experience in both sales and marketing leadership roles.
* Proven experience (at least 10 years) in leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry with a track record of delivering results.
* Previous experience working with Dermatologists is highly valued.
* Proven ability to inspire and lead a team, and work effectively cross-functionally.
This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the market dynamics.
