This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of Australian and regional wines.
Experience in event planning and execution is essential, as our venue hosts a range of functions, from intimate gatherings to large-scale events.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring exceptional service standards.
Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing team to deliver an outstanding dining experience.
Maintain strong food and beverage knowledge, with a particular emphasis on Australian and regional wines.
Manage rosters, stock control, budgets, and compliance requirements.
Oversee private and corporate events, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
Foster a positive and professional work environment, ensuring efficiency and a high standard of service.
Implement strategies to drive revenue, enhance guest experiences, and maintain a strong reputation.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in a management role within a restaurant, upmarket gastro pub, or similar hospitality setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team.
A comprehensive understanding of Australian wines, particularly those from the Orange region.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities, with a focus on efficiency and customer service.
Experience with cost control, rostering, and stock management.
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and execute successful events and functions.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards.
