We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Catering Assistants to provide a high standard of quality care to facility residents, by ensuring a high standard of catering and dining services within the facility.
The successful candidate must be flexible and available for some weekend work.
Primary Objectives will include but are not limited to:
* Participating in food preparation and beverage service
* Assisting Chef and Chef Manager with required preparation and presentation of food items
* Maintaining and promoting clean and hygienic work practices
To be successful in the role you will be:
* Previous experience in a similar kitchen environment
* Food Handlers Certificate (desirable)
* Passionate about food and cooking
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Positive 'can do' attitude
* Professional, enthusiastic and friendly manner
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to multi-task
* Able to work autonomously as well as a member of the team with a strong customer service focus
* A self-starter with excellent time management skills
* Passionate about providing quality care to our residents
* Looking forward to working in a close team environment
* Seeking a challenge with every day a little different

Pre-employment screening
The successful candidate is required to have completed or have a willingness to undertake the following:
* Vaccinated in accordance with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy (including proof of the required doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza)
* Undertake a National Criminal History Check
* Undertake Probity Checks
* Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
