The primary purpose of this position is to successfully design, deliver a system of systems architecture and ICD Computer and Networked Infrastructure for a complex mission critical, high availability system spanning across multiple geographical locations. This is a front facing role and requires direct engagement with our Customer and key internal senior stakeholders.
The role is responsible for defining, stabilising and maintaining the solution infrastructure architecture for bids and projects for all lifecycle phases, it includes:
* Defining and proposing innovative technical solutions that meet customer requirements and are compliant with the business' product/system technical strategy
* Analysing the infrastructure architectural and technical choices to ensure the best trade-off between customer requirements, technical solutions, cost and risk.
This position is based at Melbourne World Trade Centre with some visibility needed at our test facility at Melbourne Airport.
Essential Experience
* 10+ years experience in similar positions on projects delivering complex software-centric real-time systems.
* 6+ years demonstrated experience in the design of infrastructure and network architectures
* Demonstrated experience in the design of secure solution architectures inline with security standards and policies eg. ISM
* Experience with collective decisions and conflict resolutions
* Capability to manage various stakeholders having different objectives
