Our 4 Operating Theatres and Procedure room cater to a diverse range of surgical specialties including orthopaedics, general surgery, gynaecology, urology, ophthalmology, vascular, ENT, plastics, gastroenterology / respiratory, dental and neurosurgery – spinal and pain management.Reporting to the Operating Theatre Nursing Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of an experienced, close-knit team. You will provide safe and high-quality patient care in the perioperative environment, with excellent attention to detail and customer focus in line with the core values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.As a member of the Operating Theatre team at Southern Highlands Private Hospital, you will be part of a group of professionals who take pride in delivering the highest levels of patient care. The team is supportive, approachable, and patient-focused, and provides excellent training and development opportunities.Skills and ExperienceTo thrive in this role, you will demonstrate a positive and collaborative approach, showcasing excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills with a strong perioperative skillset.To be successful in this role you will also demonstrate:Current nursing registration with AHPRAMinimum of 2 years recent experience as a Scrub / Scout nurseAbility to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentExcellent time management and organisational skills with a strong attention to detailOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsFlexibility to work across a 7-day roster including early and late shifts, with an on-call roster to cover overnight, weekends and public holidays. Please note that night shifts are not a requirement of this role however you are required to participate in the rotational on call roster covering overnights & weekends/public holidays.RemunerationOn offer is hourly base salary ranging from $36.65 - $51.47 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
